Église Saint-Nicaise, Reims
I was really lucky on that day because as I walked closer to the church I could hear the sound of a carillon... once in the church the guide proposed me to climb the 2 stairs leading to the carillon room.
A woman was playing the carillon clavier and she showed me how it worked... each piece of wood is linked to a bell by a cable, there are 35 bells with each a different note!
It was the first time I saw a carillon clavier and the carillon-player playing it!
