Custom LEGO Elton John - Greatest Hits

And I think it's been a long, long time before I posted a figure on here.

 

This lil fella has been done for quite some time, but I have been too busy with life to get around to posting the lad. Elton John is probably my favorite solo artist along with a stranger I'll be making in the future.

 

Sir Elton is wearing his getup from the cover of his greatest hits album. It was kind of hard to find reference for him but I managed with the help of the Funko POP.

 

The hat is made from a City park ranger hat, which I sculpted onto and dremeled to get the correct shape, the black band is made from Electrical tape and the bow on the side is ProCreate. I glued the bottom half of the old Star-Lord hair to make the hat/hair combo.

 

The face I used as a base was a Legolas head that I sculpted the glasses onto, and painted the mouth onto.

 

His bowtie is from the Professor Flitwick CMF.

 

The lil Elton John pin on his lapel is made from ProCreate as well.

 

His cane is made from a Lego pole piece and the handle of a machete from BrickArms.

 

The rest is all painted by myself.

 

Overall I’m quite happy with this guy. What do you think?
