Terrell Empties at Duke

An empty coal train from Plant Marshall, called 'Terrell' by CSX, rips west at the south end of the Duke siding near Stanley, NC. The siding here is still guarded by a Seaboard era spring-switch signal. This would be the first of two empty trains to pass in less than 45 minutes, which is an uncommon sight for the Charlotte Sub in 2023.
