Like sands through the hourglass, . . .
Robert Sherman Windmill (1812)
Prescott Farm
Middletown, Rhode Island
While it lacks the high drama and magnetism of Days of Our Lives, I'm quite taken with this windmill.
I must have knocked the focus ring a bit when wrapping the rig for the long exposure, because focus is a bit off. (In addition to putting the plastic thingy over the eyepiece for a long exposure---which is an absolute must---I use a long, dark scarf to wrap the filter stack, lens, and camera body to combat light leakage; I'm periodically reminded that skipping this step can ruin the shot.)
Filters: Gold-N-Blue polarizer, 15-stop ND
