I showed up last Friday to capture the Goat Island Light in its Christmas outfit but was repelled by camera-shaking wind. Though clouds rolled in, conditions this past Tuesday were otherwise ideal---the air was as calm as could be. So I waited . . . and waited . . . and waited for the the decorative lights to come on, but they never did! A Christmas outrage. I'm guessing they're only lit on the weekends for energy and money savings. In any event, not knowing if I'll be able to get back before the decorations disappear, I thought I would post what I got. At least there's some nice green and red in there!
