Turkish Churchill

This is Turkish Railways class 45151 2-8-0 No. 45153 withdrawn on Cankiri depot. Built by British Locomotive Company of Glasgow to LMS 8F design, 25 were acquired from the British War Department in 1941. Seven never made it to Turkey being lost at sea. A further two followed in 1943. Sometimes known as 'Churchills' in Turkey.
