SHIPtember Day 1: Sleeping Quarters

As you may be able to tell, I'm going full minifig-scale interior. I have a bunch of modules planned for the interior, around which the exterior will be based. Planned modules are:

 

-Sleeping Quarters (seen here)

-Storage Space

-Bridge/Command Center/Cockpit

-Communications Center (might get cut)

-"Common Room"

-Mess hall

-Lab

-Airlock

-Lavatories

 

Today, I got started on the sleeping quarters, which might be the most complex one since the bunks have to be able to slide. It took me several tries to get to this design, I'll be finishing the module tomorrow.

 

As for the layout, I have no idea as of yet. I'll have to see once all the modules are built. The exterior will come last, and might not look so good because by then I'll be running out of time and pieces.
