What really kills us,

Ourselves.

What many people fail to realize, is that those "massive numbers on gun violence and gun deaths charts" are inaccurate. Why? Well, suicides and gang related shootings make up a majority of those statistics. And as soon as I find that CNN chart (CNN is known for being quite left-leaning) to back that up I will, but I'm running short on time. Gangbangers don't follow legislation on anything let alone gun laws. So more gun control will only affect law. Abiding. Citizens. Now, suicide is a very touchy subject, and I don't want to dig too deeply into this subject, because I could offend a lot of people, which is most certainly not my goal. I know people who've lost loved ones to suicide and it's an awful awful tragedy. Nobody should ever feel self-destruction is their only way out of their suffering. I urge anyone who suspects a loved one or even themselves to be suicidal to find professional help. But to say it's "gun violence" or "the gun killed this person" is wrong. The person chose to end their own life, and the firearm just happened to be the method of going about their self-destruction. Again, my highest sympathies to those who've lost a loved one to suicide. It's a tragic, unnecessary, awful thing that should never happen and I mean that in the most sincere way I can. I support our troops to the fullest, and a lot of these guys coming back have PTSD and other injuries that change their lives overwhelmingly. Normally these vets own firearms, and sometimes, some vets, find suicide is their only way out because we have a government that won't help these heroes that have served to protect us. So my deepest condolences to all, especially those families whose loved one had served and payed the heaviest of prices in the name of Freedom.

But gun control legislation will not help.
