European Starling

One viewer writes, "European Starling -- You can even determine the sex as female, as the base of the bill is pink (males have blue bases; isn't that handy?!). EUST bills, like here, have changed color to yellow from black for the breeding season, although those living in much-more-northerly climes may still be partly or wholly black."
