Sulphur butterfly hanging upside down

Hard to tell if this butterfly is a Clouded Sulphur (Colias philodice), Orange Sulphur (Colias eurytheme), or hybrid of the two. It was photographed hanging upside down on a plant growing at the edge of the C&O Canal, between Locks 14 and 15. Montgomery County, Maryland, USA.
