Multipurpose Alley
Tiny little street in Rome that serves as a bikepath, hangout spot and restaurant all in a width of about ten feet. This is probably a two way driving road too - Italian drivers can pull off feats that appear to defy Newtonian Physics. Well, that and the cars are small too. Don't usually see too many Hummers in Continental Europe - at least not in the cities anyways.
Shot handheld at dusk with my first real dSLR, the trusty old Olympus E-510 and it's shorter kit zoom, the Zuiko Digital 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6. The built-in image stabilization on this body is incredible even today. Stick the infamous f/1.4 30mm Sigma DC prime on it and you can totally shoot handheld in way less light than the little Oly can autofocus in...
Gotta love those Olympus Blues
