The great transfer.

TL152 leads TL55, TL154, 845 & K cars 502AK, 601DCK & 713PCK as 7KA9 Dimboola to Tailem Bend seen here approaching Tailem Bend. The three K cars were required for braking purposes. The 830 class and two CFCLA owned TL's will be detached at Tailem Bend Workshops. The 830 is going to make its way to Steam Ranger via road transport and the TL's are here for repairs or storage I guess.

TL152 and the K cars stabled at Tailem Bend for the night, then continued to Adelaide the following morning under the same train number, turned on the triangle at Dry Creek, and retuned to Tailem Bend as 2122S. This movement was carried out for crew re-training purposes of the Adelaide Hills line.
