Coffee and Cigarettes

Flit is thankful for the smokes and coffee, she'll use the cash as kindling later to start a fire. The road home is a long one

and her crew left as soon as the roadster broke down and she split the loot. She makes her way by foot along the now frozen solid streets stopping to watch the snow flakes fall. How intricate and detailed nature is with it's blustering of tiny individually crystallized water droplets. She reloads her cigarette holder and marvels in the slick, pocketed asphalt as it glistens in the reflection of the street lamps.

 

She snaps out of it, almost hypnotized by the beginning of a blizzard but can make out the tree-line of the South West forests. To save time she decides to avoid the slums, make a quick robbery at the bakery then cut across the dip as long as the ice holds...
