Without warning the guard mech bursts into a horizontal rain of bullets like a sprinkler hooked up to a flame thrower. There is no cover here, only dunes of cracked rock and a canon that sounds like it's about to jam...

Flit screams out as she takes a sonic blast straight to the shoulder. She hears the high pitched ringing sound of metal, wires and coils separating, She goes to fire her canon but cannot. Her arm isn't responding...
