Sydney Opera House, Vivid 2023
I was very happy with this photo. It was taken hand held on a Harbour cruise boat. I was on crutches at the time, due to some Orthopeadic surgery. My balance was not great at the time.
I had purchased a new Nikon Z lens, (70-200mm) which I have been so impress with.
There are a few over exposed spots...however for a photo I had to take quickly from a moving boat, I am generally happy with the end result.
During the Vivid festival in Sydney , The Sydney Opera house is illuminated with different designs. However, I am taking this photo from the opposite side . The illuminated 'sails' face Circular Quay. The whole of Circular Quay is absolutely flooded in light from colourful light Installations and lasers. All part of the Vivid festival of light.
