The WC brought stuff to the Upper Peninsula that I'd never seen if the Soo had stayed. This SD45-SD35-SD45 combo at Trout Lake eastbound in October 1994 was typical of some of the crazy consists that ran by my house on a daily basis. Almost like having your own model train layout where you could mix and match things at whim. Train 35 arrives to make its set out with 5377, 2500 and 5400 along with 86 cars.
