After the early 70's the SOO assigned a geep to the transfer between the twin Sault Ste. Marie's. After the WC took over this job quickly became home to a SDL until work was undertaken to strengthen the bridge to allow heavier power. 585 has just arrived on the Michigan side with 26 cars on October 24, 1989.
