A Fine Leader
No idea why the geep ended up leading but I sure wasn't complaining when 2402, 4402 and the 31 cars of train 909 rolled by west of Trout Lake on March 4, 1984. Normal practice would have had 4401 spun on the turntable at Soo yard and placed up front. A rather ordinary shot for 84 but it sure looks neat now with the CP 40 footer on the head pin and the COFC cars. So ordinary I didn't even bother to chase it appears from my notes.
