This weeks Saturday Night Special is by Mike Hoff and features SOO 705 leading a pair of GP38-2's on train 18. The date is May 2, 1985 a couple months past the MILW combination and big changes would soon be coming to what was once the SOO's Twin Cities-Chicago main with overhead traffic moving off this route onto the ex MILW main.
