481 at Levack
St. Luc-West Coast secondary train 481 usually arrived in great afternoon light in the Sudbury area and was often powered with a number of MLW's. I'd have given about anything if that lead -2 wasn't on the point of this train as it worked upgrade thru Levack. Power on Sept 6, 1991 is 5673, 4717, 1529, 4733, 4734 and 5743 and yes the sound was fantastic. 4717 had to be one of the better looking big MLW's on CP at the time but sadly it seriously caught fire on the D&H not to long after this picture and was one of the early M636's to be retired.
