By 1997, I had realized that I had mainly ignored railfanning commuter or passenger rail operations. Had I not ignored it, I'd have photos of Blueliners, MU's, GG1's, E & F Units, RDC's.
Upon starting full-time in my current job in 1997, I was given my birthday off as a benefit. Since this happened on a weekday, I decided to start railfanning commuter/passenger rail pithing a day-trip of eastern PA. I would revisit each place at 10-year intervals to document the changes.
My first subject would be the ex. Erie commuter rail operations inbound to Hoboken from Port Jervis.
If anyone has taken the time to read this far, and can tell me what this location is called, I would really appreciate it. This eastbound Suzy Q train will shortly depart CR/MNCR trackage to continue its journey eastward, July 17, 1997. The Susquehanna is a railroad that I should have paid much more attention to. Kodachrome scan.
