3D Scanner - Skanect

Skanect is a 3D scanner that uses a $20 xbox 360 camera (on top of the tv) to scan objects, and send them to a 3D printer for printing. You can print using plastic, either solid, or varying degrees of translucence, in addition to food, wood, and chalk. Objects can be painted or dyed.
