Triangular Sculpture

I don't know whether I like this or not. To me, the designers of the aquatic garden at Wave Hill achieved a perfect aesthetic without any need for anything else. Perhaps I am too much of a traditionalist. Had Wagner have meant Parsifal to be set in a concrete nuclear bunker, he would have set it in one. These objects need large open spaces, like the Henry Moore sculptures enoyed in the large, open grounds of the New York Botanical Garden a few years ago. The aquatic garden at Wave Hill is too confined a setting for these sculpures. They are lit up at night time, and I have not seen the effect. In a much larger body of water, I could, perhaps see it working.
