Food Items Labeled for Allergens

New food item cards were implemented in the dining courts. The cards are printed using CBord Bartender software. This software accesses Net Nutrition ingredient and nutrition information and prints it on the food item card for use in the dining court. A decision was made to label for Calories/portion, the Big 8 allergens, and gluten. This enhancement helps students know if a food item contains a particular allergen. In every situation it is stressed that cross-contact can occur. If anaphylaxis is a threat, students are encouraged to ask for food that has not been on the line.
