Candy Or Shoes?

A number of these old buildings have ghost signs from past occupants (Carruthers Jones Shoe Co. and one unreadable). Saint Louis, MO at one point through at least the first half of the 20th century was a center for shoe manufacturing. Thanks for noticing this with me.
