play silks

i bought white silks from here

and dyed them with kool-aid using this tutorial

 

this was fun. for anyone thinking of trying it, i would use a glass bowl (the tutorial said glass or plastic) - the red dye stained the plastic and transferred a bit to some the lighter colors. or just start with the lighter colors and save red and purple for last.
