Vatican Museum Stairs

The double helix of the Vatican Museum stairs can be mesmerizing. While beautiful the design is interesting in that it is actually two sets of intertwined stairs, with one set of stairs essentially leading nowhere. Only one of the stairs is ever used. Getting the shot is pretty difficult in an incredibly busy museum which does not permit tripods.
