Winter Scene
With fresh snow falling, I ventured out to the Chicago Botanic Garden. Looking for compositions I walked out to the Japanese garden, a favorite location. The snow was picking up intensity as I spotted this baren tree with its wonderful domed shape. I considered several compositions before alighting on a view that reflected the tree's gentle curve with the hill in the distance. The evergreens in the distance seemed to be leaning to give this little tree some space. An unexpected gem in a world of white.
