Big Sable Light
I've been wanting to get up to this lighthouse for a while. It's not particularly easy to get to. Four or five hours away from home, it is about a 15 minute drive from where I was staying in Ludington, MI. Then it is a 2 mile hike in the dark to beat the sun to the lighthouse. But it was all worth it. IT is a beautiful light, especially in the glow of the morning light. I only wish I had gotten there an hour or so earlier to capture the night sky as well. Lots of great angles to shoot from all around this lighthouse. I'm going to have to come back some day.
