Rain Over Bishop

I caught this dramatic scene from an overlook in the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest. A thunderstorm was complimented by heavy rain and strong winds, which created a huge dust and sandstorm across the small town Bishop below. Just as the sun set over the Eastern Sierras, I snapped this shot with my telephoto lens as color filled the sky. An unforgettable moment and journey into the White Mountains.
