Ramly Burger

All Malaysians and Malaysians-at-heart know what a Ramly Burger is. And if you don't, then you don't know what you're missing.

 

What you want is a "Special Cheese Daging" which is a beef patty topped with a slice of Kraft's Cheddar "plastic" Cheese wrapped in a well-seasoned (with Maggi Seasoning, of course) crepe-thin omelette.

You also get one small piece of lettuce, onions (raw or caramelised, depending on the stall's speciality) and a slice of tomato. You should not opt out of the sauce that go with the burger - a mix of Lady's Choice mayonaise and Maggi (Sweet) Chili Sauce. It's like Sloppy Joes. Be prepared to get messy.

 

However, the ultimate Ramly Burger experience is watching the cook prepare the omelette. It is as good as watching the prata man flip bread.
