Two Worlds [ Explored ]

This was an exercise I've been meaning to try for ages but could never be bothered.

 

The local camera clubs monthly theme was "Abstract" so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to give this a go.

 

It's oil, mixed with water, in a dish, over a piece of glass with an iPads home screen placed at the bottom for some colour and light - I wished I'd taken a photo of the setup!

 

I used my Canon 100mm macro on the Sony A7Rii with a metabones adaptor.

 

** Top tip: Make sure you use a super clean bowl and glass or else you'll spend HOURS cloning out the little dust specs just like I did!**
