20th September 2019. Return from Bowfell. On Crinkle Two. Crinkle Crags, Cumbria.
Supplies of liquid refreshments depleted, the boys have dreams of the barmaid's charms back in Ambleside. Unfortunately the café on the Crinkle Crags is now closed, so my last bottle of Lucozade was called into action. I am totally responsible for their safe return. Mountain Guide, map and compass reader, whistle blower, head torch engineer, walking stick supervisor, summit spotter, and water boy, I got these young 'uns back to civilisation.
