Even while this early supercell from August 14th was being torn apart by storms firing on it's flank, it was easy to see that the atmosphere was primed to go big if something could stay isolated. This one had started to structure and throw some giant positive bolts (trying to kill us!) while fighting for it's life. A day that I won't soon forget!
