This is CP Rail's mainline through Saskatchewan..

 

The center portion of this former Pool elevator was moved from Avonhurst Sask. in 1979...

 

Back in 1882 the Canadian Pacific Railway arrived... that's when Indian Head was founded...

 

Back in the Early 1900's Indian Head had 12 Elevators and a Flour Mill...

 

At one time it was the largest grain shipping point in the world...

 

Indian Head became a town in 1902 .. still part of the North West Territories then..

Saskatchewan became a province in 1905...
