One of the main reasons for our sojourn to Scotland was to visit the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway, my first time there, we found it to be a well organised and friendly railway, well worth a visit if you have the opportunity. During our time at the B & K R we managed a round trip to Manual, the end of the line and where it connects with the national network; we rode in a TSO (Tourist Second Open) - very nostalgic. Haulage was provided by an ex-NCB Bagnall built in 1945 and acquired from Comrie Colliery (Fife), now painted in early BR livery and given the number of a J94, 68007. Above is an image of 68007 about to depart from Bo'ness at 12.10 for the short journey to Manual on 20 June 2017.
