Old, Worse And Worse

The title is not a description of the subject, but the colloquial name given to the railway company that built the line at this location, the Oxford Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway was soon absorbed into the mighty Great Western Railway, but its origins live-on in the administrative reference given to this bridge situated at Lower Moor, between Pershore and Evesham. The problems of uneven lighting on sunny days in winter may be seen in this image, this shot was my favourite at this location on this visit.

Saturday 25 November 2017 sees a GWR (not the original, but the First Group reincarnation) HST working 1P51, the 12.13 Hereford to Paddington.
