Thack Moor - North Pennines

An outlier of Black Fell and the culmination of the ridge over Watch Hill. In 2013 this Pennine eminence was transformed. It ceased to be the hill overlooking the village of Renwick and became instead Renwick's mountain. A survey revealed that its height was not as stated on the map 609m. just under the 2000ft mountain qualifying height. Its actual height was 609.62m 1 inch. higher, thus making Thack Moor a certifiable mountain.
