The Protestant parish church of Saint Matthias is a listed church building in Bad Sobernheim.
History
The previous church was consecrated in 976 by Archbishop Willigis. From this one stems the tower in the northwest of the choir. Its first floor and the entrance are new. The church is a three-aisled late Gothic church from the 15th century. It consists of four rib-vaulted bays on octagonal pillars. The early Gothic choir was first built, then in 1482 the nave. The main entrance is constructed like a hall, the vestry added to the south. From 1959-1969 followed extensive restauration and securing works.

Stumm organ
The organ stems from 1739 and is essentially, after a restoration from 2003 to 2005 by the company Müller, left in the original. It was made by Johann Michael Stumm. It has 25 stops on two manuals and pedal. The disposition is as follows:
