Garden of the Rocks
Frakto forest, Drama, Greece - October 2016.
Outlines the famous "Holy Grail" of the traveler, the Virgin Forest Frakto. We are talking about the "Garden of the Rocks" which stands majestic in the most characteristic aspect of the observation post at "Panorama", near the road which leads to Achladorema waterfalls.
Since 1980 it is designated as Natural Monument, the "Zagkrantenia" in Slavic, took its name from these imposing rocky elevations which have created a sense of a place fenced, "Frakto".
Binoculars are essential if you want to spot the goats hanging on cliffs or simply to bow to the greatness of a still pale from so far away, but equally majestic waterfall.
