[Guideline: Add Poster Edges Effect]

 

1.Open teacher image in adobe Photoshop

2.Duplicate “background layer” and rename as “teacher”

3.At “teacher layer” > Filter > Artistic > Poster Edges (Thickness=1, Intensity = 2, polarization=3)

4.Remove unwanted text on black board by using brush tool to add colour on it. Use Eyedropper tool to extract colour of certain area.

5.Add rectangle shape

6.Use text tool (font: comic sans MS) to add text :”the best teachers don’t’ give you the answers. They just point the way and let you make your own choices. Your own mistakes. That way you get all the glory. And you deserve it.”

7.In new layer, add text using Text Tool(font: Chawp) :”Happy Teacher Day 16 MAY 2014.>

 

[Guideline: Add style on text]

 

8.Add layer style : Drop Shadow(Blend Mode: multiply,colour: #666600, opacity:75%, angle: -146, Distance:8px, Spread:59%, Size:10px), Color Overlay (Blend mode: normal, colour:#ffff99 , opacity:100%) > OK

9.In new layer, add text using Text Tool (font: eraser, saiz 14pt, colour:white): “THE BEST TEACHERS DON’T GIVE YOU THE ANSWERS, THEY JUST POINT THE WAY AND LET YOU MAKE YOUR……YOU DESERVE IT”

10.Select few words: “The Best Teacher, Point The Way and You Deserve it”, change colour to BLUE and Size: 24pt

 

[Guideline: Draw shape: love, ribbon and ornament1 and apply pattern overlay style]

 

11.Add new layer, use Custom Shape Tool > select love, ribbon and ornament 1 to draw 3 shapes. Adjust the position of those 3 shapes .

12.Select love shape layer> add layer style > Pattern Overlay (Blend mode: normal, opacity:61, pattern: parchment , scale 71%, tick link with layer)> OK

 

[Guideline: Change t-shirt colour to pink]

 

13.Use Quick Selection Tool > select t-shirt > Go to Adjustment Panel > select Hue/saturation layer (hue/saturation: custom, master, Hue: -41, Saturation: +43, Lightness:+7)
