Dickwittery of the week award goes to RBS Contractors who are digging a trench along the Bridleway beside the A39 to Carland Cross.
All well and good, but the forces of stupid are strong here. It's a long slog in my granny gear up a long hill to this point, where I found a road closed sign just a few yards from where the road is closed.
That isn't terribly helpful chaps. Go put your sign where it's needed, back at the start of the Bridleway you dickheads...
Major diversion for me then but hey ho.
I did think of going over the barrier and telling the chief hole digger that there had been an intelligence fail but didn't want to come across as some moaning knobhead (excuse all the slang n'stuff...), so I'm moaning on here instead, where it'll do no good whatsoever.
I could e-mail the company but by the look of it, they'll have finished the work by now and cleared everything away.
