My maternal grandmother Elsie Wallace (1892-1945), taken in Sheffield, early 20th century

This was my mum, Elsie's youngest daughter Margaret's favourite photo of her mother, which she cut out to keep close when she lost her aged 13. Elsie died aged just 52 of heart failure due to coronary atheroma, a few months before the end of WW2.
