I’ve always liked cedar forests. The trees often have a lot of character, they’re so dense around here that they block a ton of light, and where the light trickles through you can find little pockets of plants. Sometimes those little pockets can be pretty interesting - everything seems to reach for the light and take advantage of the little island of hospitable conditions. Once in a while, these little pockets of light can also be little islands of order in a forest of chaos. Not a bad little subject!
