Blue Vertigo
This was a spot I’d wanted to visit for a while. I’ve been in canyons where orange and red walls reflected warm light, and in lush canyons covered in plants reflecting green light, but I’d never been in such a frosty canyon reflecting white and blue. The strange shapes in the rock create these really intricate repeating patterns that almost seem to flow together. I guess that makes sense considering water rushes through this spot for the better part of the year. The place was almost overwhelming. Trying to find an angle which seems to capture some of that movement in the rock was a dizzying experience: there’s flow to the rock everywhere in there! Anyway, this is what I came away with!
