Electric vortex

So I’ve finally made some progress on processing images from my most recent trip to the Canadian Rockies and it’s about to get icy in this feed. We had a heck of a trip, and despite some limited luck with light, we did find some incredible conditions when it really counted.

 

This image was from a particularly frosty morning where many trees were just caked in frost. This little guy kept drawing my attention, so I decided to share it. The heart of this tree just kept peeking out and I couldn’t get over the pattern of all the bare frosty branches around it. I just don’t get to see frost like this in Ontario all that often! Much more to come!
