Dust and Snow
The Yukon territory is such an incredible place, and one that is dear to my heart. Not that long ago I posed an image of a massive glacier from here, and alluded to how much walking went into capturing the image. This was one of the images along the way to that bigger view.
One of the things you may not expect from this hike is the dust. It's not uncommon for dust to get kicked up by wind and blow through the campsite, creating some very unique scenes. This images was captured while I was collecting water for the evening, completely out of no-where. The wind just kicked up and starting making everything look much more atmospheric. Not great for changing lenses, but excellent once you've got the lens on!
