Silence

There’s something special about island hopping by canoe in Ontario. There are an unending number of lakes to paddle, and loads of these tiny islands which make you feel utterly secluded. Stopping by a tiny island for an afternoon can be a welcome break during a long paddle, especially when the only sounds are a few birds and the gentle waves breaking on the shore.

Taken with a Canon 5D IV, 70-200 f/2.8Lii, lee landscape polarizer, and a Lee little stopper. Processed in Camera Raw and Photoshop.
