Splash standard

While Lake Erie's waves are extremely dramatic, it can be hard to judge the size and ferocity of the water without some sort of known elements. Here's a pier after it's been hit by a few blowing waves. The waves themselves are quite big, but once the wind picks the water up, it really has a way of rolling over everything in its path.

Taken with a Canon 5D IV and a 70-200 f/2.8Lii. Processed in Camera Raw and Photoshop.
