Rapid changes in weather can lead to some magic conditions for photography. This was definitely one of those situations. To be honest, I’m not 100% sure what was going on, but I think the storm moving over this valley was dropping snow very close to freezing, and then changed to rain part way through the valley. As the storm clouds cleared the light got under the clouds and reflected off the snow creating some really interesting textures. I think… Whatever it was, it was really interesting! Neat!
